THE ARCHIVES

The museum archives serve the research into performing arts and are open to the public. The archival material of performing arts dates from the 1820s until the present. The Museum archives conduct the basic research of the collections and record the memoirs of theatre professionals through interviews. Donations also add to the collections.

The archives exhibitions display both the treasures of the collections and the current interests.

The Museum archives contain collections on idividual artists, theatres, communities and organisations, performance and character photographs, recordings and video tapes, press cuttings, programmes and posters.
