THEATRE EDUCATION

Theatre education focuses on encouraging visitors to put on their own stage productions or to increase their knowledge of theatre. The permanent exhibitions of the museum, Backstage and the Arkadia Theatre in particular, with its real stage and dressing room, and the Theatre Attic have been designed to allow visitors to try out different areas of the theatre.

Guided tours or organized workshops related to the exhibitions may be booked in advance. Temporary exhibitions, too, will usually include hands-on exhibits or a workshop room. The Theatre Museum offers both children and adults an opportunity to “take games seriously” and learn new things through games.
