Welcome to the museum during the Christmas holidays!

The year is coming to an end and we at the Theatre Museum are preparing for Christmas. This year the Christmas break won't be too long, as the museum will only be closed during the Christmas holidays on Dec 24th and 25th and again on Dec 31st December and Jan 1st.

Between Christmas and New Year and after January 2nd the museum will be open as usual: Tuesday, Thursday–Sunday 11am–6pm, Wednesday 11am–8pm.

There is still time to visit the National Theatre's jubilee exhibition

The exhibition "The Audience Was Furious From Excitement!" celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Finnish National Theatre is open until December 30th. The exhibition gives glimpses of the National Theatre's decades through various themes, such as national identity, politics, equality and media fervor. Past and present generations of theatre’s employees are featured in a 180-degrees photo installation and dozens of interviews.
