Ticket Office closes 30 minutes prior to Museum closing.

Guided tours Tue–Fri from 9.15 onwards.

Parts of exhibitions may be temporarily closed due to Museum workshops or other activities. Please contact the Exhibition Info on +358 (0)40 1922 300 to confirm access to all areas.

Exceptions to the opening hours

The end of the year is a busy time for the Theater Museum's event services due to the Christmas party season, which is why there will be special opening hours on Thursdays and Fridays at the end of the year:

• The Theater Museum will close at 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays in November and December.

In addition, the following exceptions apply:

• On Wednesday, October 29, the museum will not open until 4 p.m.
• On Thursday, November 6, the museum will close at 4 p.m. to visitors other than those attending Culture Kids performances.
• On Saturday, November 8, the museum will close at 4:45 p.m. due to a performance for the Moving in November festival.
• On Sunday, November 9, the museum will be closed from 2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. due to a performance for the Moving in November festival.
• On Thursday, November 27, the museum will be closed.
• On Thursday, December 4, the museum will close at 3 p.m.
• The Arkadia Theater will be closed to the museum visitors during the performances of Culture Kids programme in August–November as follows:
  Tuesdays: Oct 21/Nov 4/Nov 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  Thursdays: Oct 23/Nov 6/Nov 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  Saturdays: Oct 25/Nov 8/Nov 15 12:30 p.m.–4 p.m.

Good Friday 18.4.2025
May Day 1.5.2025
Midsummer week 16–22.6.2025
Independence Day 6.12.2025
