Before the visit

To book a workshop please send a message at varaukset @ teatterimuseo.fi or use the e-form. NB: check possible exceptions to the booking service here.

The prices for the workshops can be found on each workshop page. Theatre Museum is not liable to pay VAT.

For bookings and cancellations, a minimum of seven business days' notice is required. Sessions cancelled later will be liable to 50 % charge. If no prior notification will be given, we will charge the full amount and invoice the email address given for the booking. An additional 7€ invoicing fee will be charged.

The workshop fee will be paid at the ticket office in the Glass Coutryard information point. The most affordable option is to pay in cash or with a debit or credit card, as an additional 7 € will be charged to an invoice. Please send your invoicing details at varaukset @ teatterimuseo.fi. If you need an attachment (such as the order form of your municipality) to your invoice, please send it to the above mentioned address or leave it with the receptionist upon arrival.

Upon arrival

The ticket office and entrance to the Theatre Museum are located in the Glass Courtyard. From there you can pass through the Tehtaanmyymälä shop into the Cable Museums' own lobby, where you will find toilets, coat racks and storage lockers. There is also a small loft where you can enjoy a snack before or after a workshop. The group leader moves with the group and is responsible for it throughout the visit. Wait in the lobby, the guide will pick up the group from there and take them to the Theatre Museum!

On punctuality: Please make sure you arrive in good time as it is vital that the workshops start on schedule. Unfortunately, we cannot extend the end time of the workshop beyond the agreed time. Allow some time to pop into the restrooms, settle down and focus.

After the visit

The reduced group rate for children, educational institutions and special groups does not include self-service exhibition visit time. If you wish to explore the exhibition after the workshop, you can return after purchasing your tickets.
