Stay safe during your visit to Theatre Museum

We want to make your visit to Theatre Museum as pleasant and safe as possible. We follow the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the recommendations and guidelines of the authorities.

We recommend that all exhibition and event guests over the age of 12 wear a face mask, unless there is a health reason not to do so. So please, bring a mask with you!

Our staff comes to work only if in good health. They also keep their hands clean and keep their distance. All facilities are cleaned extra carefully.

Here are some guidelines we hope our guests will follow. You are warmly welcome to Theatre Museum!

1. COME TO THEATRE  MUSEUM ONLY IF YOU ARE FEELING WELL

You are most welcome to Theatre Museum if you are in good health. If you are ill, please stay at home until you are well again, and contact a health professional if needed.

2. Use of a face mask

We recommend the use of a face mask in the museum for everyone over 12 years of age, unless health conditions prevent it.

3. LET'S KEEP OUR DISTANCE

Please keep your distance from other people. Our staff will also maintain a safe distance from our visitors. Please follow the suggested directions during peak hours. We may limit the number of visitors, if necessary.

4. PREFER CARD OR CONTACTLESS PAYMENT

Museum Card: show your museum card to the card reader at the checkout or download and use the Museum Card app. At the checkout of the Cable Factory Museums, you will find a QR code that will be read by the app. After successful login, show the mobile phone screen to the customer service representative.

5. KEEP YOUR HANDS CLEAN

Please make sure your hands are clean when you come to the museum. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. There are three places at the reception and two up in Theatre Museum to wash your hands. Hand sanitizer is available at the reception and on exhibition floor.

7. Group visits to the Theatre Museum

Workshops and guided tours will be conducted in group sizes that allow keeping safe distances. Our guides will wear face masks and keep a distance from the group. Our staff only come to work in perfect health and we expect the same from our guided group visitors.

The exercises in the workshops are carefully selected so that they can be carried out with safety margins. We recommend the use of a face mask.

Special attention will be paid to hand hygiene, and in addition to hand washing stations, hand sanitizer will be provided during the workshops.


THE THEATRE MUSEUM FOLLOWS THE OFFICIAL GUIDELINES OF THE GOVERNMENT, THE SOUTHERN FINLAND REGIONAL STATE ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCY AND THE METROPOLITAN AREA CORONAVIRUS COORDINATION GROUP AND CHANGES ITS POLICIES IF NECESSARY.
